Hi everyone, new player here - Mal, I've written with some of you before and others are entirely new so hello! I'm excited to be here. Still kind of feeling my way into a non-fandom space, but excited to introduce my boy here Cameron Tyr a Coyote shifter from Texas.

He's a bit of a roamer though, so he hasn't lived there in a long while, Cameron tends to move around a lot from place to place picking up odd jobs, whether that's as a mechanic or as a dishwasher, he's never much cared as long as he's had enough money in his pocket for his next meal and a place to lay his head at the end of the night. So he's been all over the country in his travels, though never abroad.

Outwardly he's very much Alpha presenting (and is an Alpha too so that tracks), it saves him a lot of hassle if he just doesn't give people a chance to question his place in the pecking order so to speak. That said once you get to know him more the softer side comes out, he's sweet and a little bit goofy and not really the "typical" Alpha when he's one on one with people.

I'd love to get him a couple of friends, maybe some other connections - someone he butts heads with? friend with benefits? employers? He's not looking to settle down though I'm up for spoiling his expectations a bit lol. Looking forward to getting him out there and meeting everyone! :)

Angelique van Astley is a bitten Omega werewolf. She's been in town for ten years, owns the local gym, Flex Appeal, and is from across the pond, so she's got a lovely little accent. You'll find her in the gym often, working out, helping other people, or indulging in a little one-on-one sparring with someone.

What isn't known about her (other than within her pack) is that she is a mercenary. Theft, assassinations, information detail... she's paid big money to do all of this (obviously never under her own name). She's been doing it a long time and doesn't plan on quitting, even if the gym is legit and making good money.

Hello! I'm Red, and a new player here to Les Bons Temp. I bring to you Andrew "Andy" Tanner, little brother to Quinn Tanner. He is 30 years old (will be turning 31 in a couple of weeks). He grew up in Bozeman, MT, went to a boarding school when he turned 11, and was a baseball player. He played for Tulane University on a full ride scholarship, then was drafted into the MiLB to play for the Billing Mustangs in Montana for a few years before being grabbed up and sent back to Louisiana to play for the MLB New Orleans Pelicans. He played 3 great years for the Pelicans before tearing up his knee and totally destroying his ACL. What should have been a surgery, some physical therapy, and then released to return back to baseball turned out to be three surgeries because the doctor botched the first one, some physical therapy, and a three doctors stating he'll never play again. That was all over a year ago.

Now Andy is a sports announcer/broadcaster for the Pelicans during home games and he coaches little league baseball for 10 year olds.

There may be a few of you who know Andy, or know of Andy, considering he went to Tulane for school before leaving to play for the Mustangs, and if not from that time, then he has lived in New Orleans for the past three years, going on four (?). So give him all the friends, fans, ect!!

He has a couple of wanteds,

• one being an ex-girlfriend that disappeared when they were at Tulane (why she disappeared can be up to player and discussed).
• And he has a best friend from boarding school that possibly followed him to Tulane.

Hello, all, I'm new around here after an exceptionally years-long rp hiatus, but I saw an ad for this game and it looked about my speed and not overwhelmingly large, so I throw myself at your mercy with Malcolm McLeod, a witch of a certain age with an Ewan McGregor face, who I love very dearly.

Malcolm is new to New Orleans and has an incurable case of wanderlust who likes to live wherever the wind and his interests take him, which has been, at last count, all of them. All of the places. If I could sum him up in a simple sentence, it is he likes stuff. Food, parties, people, places, books, music, whatever, if it sounds like it could be interesting or it's something new he can learn, the man's all about it. He is also rich AF and his favorite thing to do when he's getting to learn a new place and new people is find businesses or business plans or people to invest in, so if your character runs something they've been wanting to expand or they have something they want to get out the ground, come see him. If you have passion and you sound like you know what you're doing, you've got a shot. I like to think of him as Giles from Buffy meets Troy Barnes from Community, with Tony Stark's bank account.

I'm not a fan of using chat services, but my dropbox is open and screened and I'm always happy to make customs. When you're coming into a place this established, I think it's sometimes easier to let me know if there are things he can do for you, but otherwise, I will find a way to wiggle him into all your lives.

she's an intern at Edwards Financial Group in the marking department. she's finishing her externship for a masters in marketing from NYU. why did she pick an externship so far away, i hear you thinking, well, her father moved down to fill a position as an English professor at Tuline. she thought it would be nice to spend some time with him as she's been living away this whole time.

a Cali girl born and bred, on top of being an only child to a single, alpha dad, she's a shit that has a high level of expectation. dad kind of sluts about (nikki being a product of such activity), never settled down and ultimately raised nikki as if she too was an alpha. she isn't domestic, her love language is money, and it isn't just that nikki is a brat but more that she will attempt to top from the bottom if she thinks she can because breaking boys is fun. she has good traits, i think, somewhere, maybe.

Okay so it's Avlo with this surprisingly complicated omega wolf I just applied with, Hunter. Hunter's from a big, traditional pack in Utah and he was strongly encouraged to get married and mated at sixteen years old. He found himself in a relationship that wasn't fully happy in but it wasn't abusive either. And after seven years, he had a baby. And that's when things turned for him. He had a ppd/anxiety meltdown and left in the middle of the night. His daughter was six months old when he jumped on the next bus leaving town and it happened to be going to New Orleans.

He just started working at Les Bon Temps after wandering around town for a few weeks. So far he's really enjoyed his time there. He might have done a little lying on the application but he's a charming, clean cut guy.

The most specific line I'm looking for is a fae or a witch who's willing to glamour away his mating scar for him. Other than that, open to anything! Despite his past he's a fun, flirty guy who comes across as very carefree. Because of the compartmentalizing.

Sort of. In that this is Jayce and he is a witch.

Otherwise, he's a far shade off from my other characters. He's super friendly, super chatty and likes to consider himself a barrel of laughs. He'll talk to anyone, and he wants very much to be liked by everyone. Are you mean? He's gonna try harder than ever. Are you nice? He's your new best friend.

Jayce works at Les Bons Temps as a bartender, but in his free time he's an aspiring comedian -- what this sometimes means though is that he doesn't... quite know where the line between funny and too much is. And he will be crossing it. Hope you like dick jokes, he's gonna make 'em.

He's also mostly deaf, but please don't yell at him, he does some sick technomancy work to help himself out most of the time!

Hey all, T here. Some of you I’ve written with before and some I haven’t. It’s been nearly half a year since I’ve been around IJ and I’m eager to get back into the swing of things. 🙃 Those of you who know me already know that my type is “pissy gay Brit” so that’s exactly what I have brought you. Erich Camden is a wealthy, snobby human who really needs to lighten up a bit. I was hoping to have him be the owner of Broussard's but if anyone foresees a problem with that, I can always change it? Either way, I’d like for him to be a fancy restaurant owner of some variety and yes, he’s stuck up about it.

Erich hasn’t been in New Orleans long and I’d really like to start him off with some friends and acquaintances. He comes off as cold and sarcastic and kind of a biiiiitch but don’t let that fool you. He has a soft, squishy center. You just have to build up some trust before he shows it to you. HMU if anyone wants anything with my silly human!

Hey Everyone, you may remember me as the bitch who writes Wes. And I have two things to accomplish with this post. The first is to introduce you to Christian here. His bio can be found in his journal. Throughout the bio he comes across as a little asshole-ish but I really think that's more me than him. More of his true character will come out when I write as him and not about him. He's just a corn-fed farmboy from Nebraska who is really good with money and finding opportunities.

If you like me and just haven't gotten to interact with Wes much then this is a perfect opportunity. If you hate me, I'd encourage you to reassess. But if you find that you just hate me maybe you'll be comforted to know that like 50% of the time I agree with you.

I want all the lines and I'm about to be "hotel-homeless" again as my floors get redone next week and that means nothing to do but sit around and write. So.. let's get some shit going. He's been around a while so exes are a possibility, all the shit. All that good shit.

I would love a sexy femme line for her perchance, or someone who doesn’t mind that she’s in her 40s and not a perfect sprite angel with immensely perky boobs. :D

Hey guys, before I go making a journal and all that…

I’m thinking of bringing in one of two faces. Do I NEED another character? No. But do I want more lines? Yes.

A) Tomer Capone (Frenchie from “The Boys”) as possibly a witch, I don’t have a witch yet. I’m thinking he would run a record store or something similar, just kind of a chill guy but maybe he uses his magic to influence the music. Like he uses their energy and aura to recommend the perfect playlist or something? I haven’t fully fleshed this out yet, it’s just random ideas. I 200% love his face and I want a fun, positive character who can just be sexy and vibey.

B) Natasha Lyonne as the “house mom” at Les Bon Temps. She’s in charge of the “upstairs” areas, staging themed rooms for clients, restocking the supplies, etc but she also is hella protective of the employees there and is surrogate mama when they’re working. She can be any species really. But she would be like a retired dancer/performer on her own (but FAR from dead if ya know what I mean) who now looks after the escorts and dancers and manages the appointments maybe?

Thoughts? Feedback? Lines? :D
Also, if you want something specific for either, or any of my existing kids, that would just be… jelly in my doughnuts.

One new character, that’s this guy! I already posted on here as I was making him, but will do so briefly again. This is Dalton Blanchard, my 21 year old beta wolf. He’s involved with Le Petite Theatre and works at a corner store. He likes makeup and dresses however the mood strikes him, he’s no doubt had one of the more attention-catching looks out there for the recent Pride weekends. He’s fidgety, impulsive, tactile, not the most reliable person, but super friendly. Looking for lines for him, family, pack, friends, roommates, maybe fellow actors, a former teacher, friends and randos to bang.

Also, starting Friday (tomorrow) and going until the 4th of July, I will be out of town for a vacation. Where we’re going has very sparse wifi, so this will likely effect my participation. I’ll check in and participate where I can, but my replies probably won’t be the quickest. This effects Dalton here and my other guys, Cal and Llywelyn.

Do you ever just wake up and your brain chooses violence and plops a fully formed character in there your head he was there all along? Yeah me too.

This is Louis Doucet. Why yes he is from around here, how did you guess? And he is played by the beautiful and totally slept on Mamoudou Athie. Louis is a fae who had a very bad out of control phase in his youth. He was just not in a good place. There was bad magic, there was death, there were bad choices. There were many consequences for those bad decisions and he really lost it for a while there.

He overcompensates now by being very in control of everything in his periphery. It may have manifested in some symptoms that look a lot like OCD but that's anxiety for you, being wiggly and looking like other things.

I'll take anything for him! He has a very white collar, office, executive job but I haven't decided what it is yet so there's opportunity there. Or relationships too! People he hurt in the past. All that good stuff. The bad times would've been in the 80s/90s.

Hi, I'm Rei! I've been itching to write a shifter sort of character, so I bring you Felicity Sonnier! She prefers to go by Lis.

Lis is from northern Louisiana, and she's been a rolling stone for years. She did one year of college at LSU before deciding to do a gap year to see if college was really meant for her. She never went back, and she's spent the last decade or so going where the wind takes her. She's followed bands, a yogi that may or may not have tried to get her to join his cult, traveled the world and worked all kinds of jobs. She's new to New Orleans though she's no stranger to the city. She's startling to slow down a little and realize that all her friends from school have settled down, and she has nothing but wild stories to tell.

She's a good time and loves bringing the fun to anyone who comes into her orbit. She cares deeply about people even if she can't say so in words (because ew feelings). She's the girl that will take you on an incredible night on the town, but still makes sure to get you home safely with a water and an Advil. She leaves no one behind when it comes to partying.

She's a marbled cat omega shifter which is a small wildcat, about the size of a domestic house cat. She has rosettes and an absurdly long tail which she's a little self conscious about.

As far as lines, she's currently unemployed and on a job hunt so please someone hire her. She's great at making and serving food and drinks, and she also has some temp admin experience. I'd love old friends, past and current hookups/fwb, someone who's a good influence to help her get her life together, someone she's a terrible influence on and gets them to loosen up, wacky odd couple shenanigans, someone who sees past all her layers to her ooey gooey insides and more! Really looking forward to plotting with everyone!

Alright folks, hey, hi, how are ya? I’m Lil and I’m comin’ in hot with three characters for ya.

First up is this gal here, witchify who...if you couldn't guess is a witch. Josette Westcott, goes by Jo/Josie. I'm still not sure if she's a fire or like earth witch yet so I gotta do some soul searching there. She's on the cusp of 34 years old and...just think of Nicole Kidman in Practical Magic. She's the rolling stone who goes through places and sometimes lovers pretty quick. Married twice. First was in her early 20s to someone she thought she could go the distance with and then she got spooked and left him a note saying "it's not you, it's me" and left...divorce papers followed not long after that. Second time was to an older guy (not like Anna Nicole with the old dude old, but still older) but weird, he died. Was it her? Was it an accident? Who knows. (Spoiler alert: it was an accident.) But hey! She got some nice digs in Louisiana out of it. So I'm thinking either she maybe peddles some "love spells" to people for fun or has like, pretty fragranced stuff like soaps and candles and things that are maybe infused with things...or she tracks down occult items for people. Maybe she does a domme thing on the side. Clearly I have directions to figure out. Family, friends, lovers, enemies...I'm game.

Second is my Regé-Jean Page wolfhowl who is...you guessed it, a wolf. His name is Elijah Kennard and he's 34. THIS ONE, I'm still kind of trying to figure out a specific direction with but...an alpha, he's good with his hands (so I'm thinking like carpentry/woodworking/construction or other sort of manual labor tasks) and possibly some sort of maybe ex-military or something. Possibly a native to Louisiana, but possibly from a different area than the game setting. He might not be an overly loud sort with everyone, just those he deems himself to be comfortable around so there might be multiple sides going on with him. He may or may not lived on a sailboat at a marina at some point because it sounded cool. Anyway, same sitch as above he's gonna need all the good stuff.

Third is my Chloe Bennet leopardspots who is a clouded leopard shifter. Her name is Madison Chen and she's 30. She's an omega and while heats suck, she either rides it out with a partner or holes up for the week with some very reliable toys. She'll probably be a bartender and/or dancer at Les Bon Temps and probably has a very specific persona when she's working versus the one she has in her down time. So the sex bomb/vixen versus the nerd. She's the kind of person who likes cosplay and could read more than she does but will go on tangents about dumb pop culture stuff and enjoys bad jokes. Same as the other two, gonna need everything.

There's gonna be posts in their journals with you know, a bio and what not with kinks and preferences and things in a few hours hopefully once I'm at a computer but I figured I'd get the ball rolling. Looking forward to plotting and hopefully playing with you all!

Hi all! I’ve got Cal and Llywelyn in game and now am considering Fin Argus as a pb for a beta wolf who I’m calling Dalton. I’d like his family to have been involved with a pack his whole life, so he could have some pack members in game who he’s known always. Are there any established packs in game already? I’d be open to family too, am thinking he’d be the youngest (at 21) of a group of siblings. And then all the other lines too. People who knew him in school, though there not that many younger characters in game. I wouldn’t say no to a line with a former teacher he thought was hot back in the day. Hookups, friends, maybe a roommate or two.

Hey, so I’ve been itching to write again and I saw an ad for the community and thought I would put out some feelers and see if anyone would like anything before I finish tweaking this guy. His name is Sammy and he’s originally from Jersey and moved to New Orleans with his rather large family (mom, dad, 6 siblings) when he was 8, after his grandparents passed and his dad inherited their home there. His family opened a deli (Knuckle Sandwiches) shortly after moving and he’s been working there since he was 14. Sammy took over running the deli after his dad passed away when he was 19 and none of his siblings had any interest in taking over the place.

I could use anything and everything. If there’s something he can fill, that would be great. If anyone wants to be his slutty ex girlfriend, even better. He may or may not have named a sandwich after her. (Opened faced roast beef, since her legs were always open to everyone). He’s not bitter at all….

He also has a plethora of siblings, both older and younger than him (he will be 30). So there’s options there as well.

So as you may or may not remember, my guy Cal here just had his engagement broken off at the last minute, he was supposed to get married last weekend. Any of you suddenly-in-love-and-gonna-get-married types want to meet him and make him uncomfortable with all the love talk? Come on, I know you want to.

Hey, Sam here (Cal’s player) with my second guy. Llywelyn Sallow-Fernsby is a fae, and he’s older than he looks, is 75 years old. He’s from an old, strong line of fae whose talent is in remaining youthful and being able to pass on some rejuvenating properties to others. He manages his family run spa, Spa Orleans. Llywelyn grew up in England, then moved to New Orleans. He’s lived in a few different cities, moving every fifteen years or so once his slowness to age becomes more evident. He’s been back in NOLA for a while, would love to have lines for him, family, co-workers, exes, friends, friends w/benefits, maybe even someone who’s known him since his first time living in New Orleans, back 40-60 years ago. Show me what you got!
